Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Please read it before you buy — by completing your purchase you accept it.
1. We do not refund for change of mind
Our courses are digital content. Once we have given you access, we cannot take it back. For that reason we do not offer refunds because you changed your mind, because you no longer have the time, or because the course was not what you imagined.
Please use the free webinar, the course outline and this policy to decide before you buy. If anything is unclear, email us first — we would rather answer your questions than take a purchase you will regret.
This does not affect the rights set out in sections 2 to 4, which we cannot and do not exclude.
2. If you live in Australia
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those guarantees.
If there is a major failure with the service, you may cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract, or seek compensation for the reduced value of the service. You may also be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time. If it is not fixed, you may cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
3. If you live in New Zealand
Where you acquire our courses as a consumer, the guarantees in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply and cannot be contracted out of. We must supply our services with reasonable care and skill, fit for the purpose we describe, and within a reasonable time.
If we fail to meet a guarantee and the failure can be remedied, you may require us to put it right within a reasonable time. If we do not, you may cancel and obtain a refund.
If the failure is of a substantial character, you may cancel and obtain a refund, or seek compensation for the reduced value of the service, plus any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
4. If the course is faulty, not as described, or not delivered
Wherever you live, you are entitled to a remedy if:
- we fail to give you access to what you paid for;
- the course is materially different from how we described it; or
- the material is broken or unusable and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.
In those cases we will first try to fix the problem. If we cannot, we will refund you — in full where you received no value, or in proportion to the part of your 10-month access period affected.
5. Payment plans
If you are paying in instalments, the remaining instalments stay due for the access you have received. If you become entitled to a refund under sections 2 to 4, we cancel the remaining instalments and refund what applies.
6. How to contact us
Email info@okinawacandle.com with the email address you enrolled with and, if you have it, your order number. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and normally reach you within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. If we cannot agree
Please contact us first — most issues are settled quickly. Consumers in Australia can contact the ACCC or their state or territory consumer affairs body. Consumers in New Zealand can contact the Commerce Commission or the Disputes Tribunal. Consumers in the United States can contact their state consumer protection office.
8. Where we sell
We sell our courses only to consumers in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. We do not offer or sell to consumers in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
